Abstract
Intrusion detection system (IDS) is used as a security monitoring and controlling operation in computer networking. An Intrusion detection system works on the trained definition and correlates the incoming packets to declare the authenticity of the packet. In developing reliable access of data using IDS, in recent trust based coding called ‘GINI-GBDTPSO' is developed using user registration for developing reliability of authentication. The reliability is however developed based on the status of packet forwarding and no observation on user's characteristic of registration is considered. To improve the reliability factor in IDS, a new feedback factor for passive monitoring of user authentication is presented in this paper. A direct and indirect feedback is used for building reliability factor in IDS application.
