Abstract
This article contains a review of the systems and technologies used in monitoring and monitoring patients with cardiac arrhythmias. A comparison and reflection are made on ambulance electrocardiography, portable telecardiography and telecardiography systems in clinics using the technologies of the same name. The different devices, equipment, sensors, protocols and communications networks used in each of these systems such as wireless communications, embedded systems, automatic diagnostic EKG and telemedicine are exposed through the use of microcontrollers and algorithms that process the signal and wireless connection links with GUI interfaces, WLAN protocols, ADSL, TCP/IP, GPRS and SQL databases among others. These systems and technologies, from the perspective of home care for patients, are an alternative to the lack of care centers for patients with cardiovascular disease.
