Abstract
E-commerce is considered as anything that involves in an online transaction. Ecommerce provides multiple benefits to the consumers in form of availability of goods at lower cost, wider choice and saves time. The general category of e - commerce can be broken down into two parts: E - merchandise as well as E-finance. E-commerce has many reasons that why it is very crucial in developing the country. For the study,several parts of Dindigul city have been chosen. E -commerce has the intention to bring some transformation in the society and that is the reason it is considered as an essential element for the B2B and B2C commerce. E – commerce affects the way in which people led a life during COVID 19 which resulted in a more developed socially.
