Abstract
It can be said that it is necessary to study the direction of curriculum development according to major policy directions such as the fourth industrial revolution and the rapidly changing social environment at home and abroad. In this situation, the role of vocational education and training institutions is important. It is necessary to review the curriculum development procedures of existing vocational education and training institutions and establish a systematic curriculum development system by reflecting new policies, institutions, and organizational changes. To this end, this study explored the basic direction of curriculum development to ensure that curriculum development is successfully implemented at the site of vocational education and training institutions. In addition, we would like to explore guidelines for curriculum development in terms of appropriateness considering the systematic nature of the entire curriculum. First, the research method analyzed the current status of curriculum development and operation of vocational education and training institutions through the analysis of cases and literature in Korea, and the curriculum, subjects, and cases for strengthening core competencies. Second, in-depth interviews were conducted for in-depth interviews of indepth in-depth interviews of in-depth interviews of relevant institutions (college and related institutions) in Korea, and the adequacy and validity of curriculum development processes of vocational education and training institutions. Third, the working committee was operated to establish and review the direction of curriculum development and to provide advice and consultation on the contents of research. Through this process, this study proposes a plan to develop curriculum of vocational training institutions and provides implications to relevant institutions and practitioners.
