ENTREPRENEURIAL INCLINATION AMONG AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS: DOES GENDER MATTER?

Abstract
Entrepreneurship is an engine for the economic growth of a country and no nation can survive without entrepreneurial activity as it is the deciding factor in all the sectors of the economy. The study investigates the entrepreneurial inclination among agricultural graduate students and assesses whether gender has any role in entrepreneurial inclination. To accomplish the objectives, data were collected from 120 final year agriculture graduate students of three agricultural colleges in Kerala. Correlation analysis and logistic regression are employed for data analysis with IBM SPSS. The study revealed that there is no strong entrepreneurial inclination among agricultural students. Further the influence of several socio- demographic variables are also examined in the study
