Abstract
The slowdown in the development of many commodity markets, indicates the lack of effectiveness of competitive strategies of domestic enterprises and necessitates the use of new approaches to business and competition. The article is devoted to the analysis of modern scientific approaches to the content of the concept of marketing competitive strategies, attention is paid to their types, classification and order of formation, on the basis of which the own vision of the essence of the concept of marketing strategies of competition is formed. According to the results of the study, the conclusion was made about the organic combination of marketing management and strategic management methods, determined the place of marketing competitive strategies in the hierarchy of enterprise strategies. Recommendations were given to domestic companies on the choice of marketing strategies for competition.
