CORRUPTION AS A SOCIO-POLITICAL PHENOMENON: THE STATE AND TRENDS OF CORRUPTION IN UKRAINE

This article addresses the socio-political phenomenon of corruption, its social nature and origins. The problems of the anti-corruption system were raised and ways to improve their solution were proposed, the nature and origins of corrup-tion as a widespread social phenomenon were revealed; identified the main causes of corruption in Ukraine and considered methods of limiting its scale; proposals for improving the anti-corruption policy of the state were formed; scientific and political approaches to the process of forming an effective anti-corruption strategy in Ukraine are investigated. The article also describes the main causes of the negative phenomenon and approaches to combat it, as well as monitors the assessment of the level of trust in anti-corruption institutions.The article is devoted to the study of the social causes of corruption, the problems of the anti-corruption system in Ukraine and methods for improving this system.
