Abstract
The article assesses the effectiveness of environmental investment using a hierarchical system of indicators, which allows for the phased aggregation of data level by level. Implementation of the developed technique in the practical sphere will allow executive bodies at all levels to obtain reliable analytical information about the effectiveness of the use of financial resources in the field of environmental protection.
