LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES IN POLYTECHNIC LIBRARY, MAULANA AZAD NATIONAL URDU UNIVERSITY, (MANUU), HYDERABAD: A SURVEY

The present study deals with Teaching, Non-Teaching and Students user's attitude towards information services in Polytechnic, Library, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). The library is the heart of institutions, so it must be strength to provide information to the users. Library plays are important role in providing information services to the students and faculty (teaching and non-teaching). Due to advancement ICT libraries and disseminating information quickly and without wasting time of the users. They are regarded as the heart of the academic institution. The primary data was collected through a questionnaire of 100 students and faculty members of Polytechnic, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). This paper highlights the need and importance of information services. The collected data regarding the use of information services in Polytechnic, MANUU was analyzed, suggesting measures to improve the use of information services. Maximum users are satisfied with the services and collection in library.
