JOB SATISFACTION AMONG THE LIS PROFESSIONALS WORKING IN FIRST GRADE COLLEGES OF DHARWAD DISTRICT: A STUDY

This study attempts to examine the level of job satisfaction among the library professionals working in aided and government First Grade Colleges of Dharwad District. Data was collected to distributing questionnaire to the LIS professionals. Based on the data analysis inferences are drawn. The inferences indicate that majority of the respondents. However most of the respondents expressed that there is need for regular training must be imparted in order to cope up with the fast changing ICT and its adoption in libraries.
