BRADFORD’S LAW AND ITS APPLICATION ON HORTICULTURE RESEARCH IN INDIA

Abstract
The paper presents a Bibliometric way of Horticulture Research output by Indian Scientists. The study analysed a total of 10628 bibliographic records Retrieved from Web of Science Science Citation Index Expanded SCIE) during the period of 2000- 2017. The horticulture research output has been analysed by year wise, document type, authorship pattern etc. Bradford's law has been tested. The study reveal that the Horticulture literature has grown steadily during the study period, Journal article occupied the predominant place, the research in Horticulture is fairly collaborative and scattering of journal articles does not fit into Bradford's distribution.
