Abstract
An algorithm for conducting quests in a scientific library is proposed. The presented methodology is based on the experience gained from the conducted quests at the VNLU and supported by tried and tested examples. Detailed explanations of such key moments of the game implementation, such as taking into account the library's interior and the development of tasks. The development of quests from various social institutions such as libraries, museums and educational institutions was taken into account
