Electronic scientific library as a means of intellectual access to documents

The main criteria of an electronic library, the processes of the documents involving to scientific circulation and its and its aspects – physical access to do cuments and intellectual access to information are highlighted in the article. The projects aimed to the integration at the level of electronic libraries are presented. The basic types of databases and information systems are defined. The main features of the innovative model of libraries are formulated. The results of indexing of five VNLU's professional scientific editions in the world information-analytical and search systems are presented.
