Abstract

The article considers the concept of «innovation» and its essence in the marketing activities of telecommunications enterprises. The main innovations introduced in the telecommunications sector, including the introduction and development of broadband Internet access (4G and 5G technology), the Internet of things, cloud technology, Big Data, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, including chat bots.
