Abstract
The theoretical aspects of conception of «Smart of city» (clever city) are considered and the basic stages of its introduction are analysed on the example of Kyiv. Studied international practice of implementing «smart» city management and emphasis on the need to develop and implement a strategy of Ukraine «smart cities.»
