THE ISSUE OF THE READER IN THE POETRY OF UKRAINIAN ROMANTICS

The article investigates the issue of the reader in the Ukrainian literature of the Romantic era on the basis of poetic works by Y. Hrebinka, M. Kostomarov, P. Kulish. Interpretation of the artistic poetry by the Ukrainian Romantics made it possible to identify the following types of the reader: an imaginary reader, a reader-addressee, an image of the reader. Each poet appeals to readers in order to evoke certain feelings. The influence of their texts encourages us to think about life, to find harmony, to restore national authenticity.
