Abstract
The purpose set by the author in the present article is to demonstrate on the example of Russia that traditional society is not closed stage of development of the countries, and the steady quality, which is making the way in life in the conditions of the various calls, such as industrialization or modernization. It is claimed that the sustainable development can be more successfully reached by the countries with traditional economy. In conclusion, the measures, which will accelerate transition of Russia to the sustainable development, are offered.
