Abstract
We analyzed the effectiveness of various methods of surgical interventions, isolated and in combination with other methods of complex treatment; especially the postoperative period. Some relevant issues of diagnosis and treatment of surgical nail pathology, including multiple, combined and recurrent lesions of nails, subungual and paronycheal structures, optimized practical recommendations for complex treatment, effective anti-relapse measures and prevention schemes for early and late postoperative complications have been resolved. Author's methods of surgical interventions based on minimally invasive mobilization and resection / removal of affected nails through onycholized structures are developed, determine the reduction of intraoperative nail bed trauma (χ2 = 20.13, p <0.01), reduced the risk of fungal reinfections (χ2=27.41, p<0.01); characterized by a decrease in pain intensity (χ2=48.32, p<0.01), accelerating of the wound healing rate, Popova index (χ2 = 32.14, p <0.01), improvement of results of complex treatment and quality of life.
