Abstract
The attempt of the multidimensional analysis of myconymous lexicon layer in two cognates of Romance group (French and Italian) is made in the article; namely identification of structural, semantic and stylistic particularities of myconyms are presented. The structural particularities of compound words are exposed to consideration; short classification of different types of metaphor as bright stylistic lay figure is given. The attempt to classify myconyms used metaphorically in the French and Italian languages according to semantics of the component elements is made. Lexical units of the French and Italian languages are regarded in comparative aspect.
