Development of an optimized method for the synthesis of lead molybdate in the NA₂Mo₂O₇-NA₂Mo4O₁₃-Pb₃O₄ system

Abstract
This paper is the first attempt to synthesize lead molybdate in melts based on the NA₂Mo₂O₇-NA₂Mo4O₁₃-Pb₃O₄ system at low temperatures and high process performance. The analysis of the extensive material on the methods of synthesis of lead molybdate indicates the need to continue the search for new approaches to the production of such a popular compound. For the first time, the experimental results obtained in this work confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method for the synthesis of lead molybdate. Special attention is paid to the identification of the obtained lead molybdate in the NA₂Mo₂O₇-NA₂Mo4O₁₃-Pb₃O₄ system by a complex of physico-chemical methods (thermodynamic, X-ray phase, dispersion, chemical).
