PRESERVATION AND POPULARIZATION OF INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF IVANO-FRANKIVSK REGION

The article considers the elements of intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine and Ivano-­Frankivsk region. The concept of «museification» and ways of its application for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage are considered. Examples of popu‑ larization of intangible cultural heritage of Ivano-­Frankivsk region during ethnographic and folklore festivals are given. In the course of the research the normative legal acts that contribute to the preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine are analyzed.
