Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the scientific theory of interaction between the teacher and the student in the educational process as a factor in improving the effectiveness of training in the conditions of higher education institutions. By pedagogical interaction, the author understands the unity of the process of managing educational and cognitive activities on the part of the teacher and independence in activities on the part of students.
