Abstract
The identification problem of the mythological and sacral component in the image of the Russian state leader in public conscience is regarded in the article. The aim set by the author is definition of the sacral structure of the mythological image of the Russian state leader on the basis of the historiosophical analysis of the personality and life of outstanding public figures of Russian history. It is shown that the sacral kernel of representations of the Russian state leader in the history is the image of the hero-victim; and structural violation of this image negatively affects the social stability in the state.
