Abstract

Ahmed Body is generic simplified version of Hatchback vehicle to determine the aerodynamic performance with respect to localized lift and drag creation. The past research carried out on Ahmed body was only focused to determine fluctuating lift and drag creation with respect to angle of attack in slant angle. The present research is preliminary focused to present a scientific co-relation between Lift-Drag-Vortices because the creation of vortices in wake of sheading cycle adversely effect lift and Drag quantities.
