Abstract
In the short treatise on “Comparative studies between Indian and Western Inference”, the matters relating to nature, characteristics, construction and classification of the Indian and Western Inference have been discussed in brief. There is some similarities and dissimilarities between the explanation about the notion of inference given by the Indian and Western Philosophers. In this paper I have discussed whole matter in detail. This article has written for those who are less familiar with Indian and Western Inference and if they are enriched to some extent on those issues by going through it, then this little endeavor will be successful
