Abstract
The article gives a brief overview of the problem of creating and operating software simulators for training and advanced training. Software simulators of technical devices are considered. Each simulator, according to the authors, should be oriented towards training users on a particular issue. This will allow the user from the list of simulators to choose the most suitable. The level of knowledge of the user should be taken into account. The author's recommendations for creating offline simulators that do not require the use of the Internet are described.
