Abstract
This article presents the results of the study of quartzites (decorative building materials) of the Buzur area. The mineral composition of raw materials was studied using optical microscopy; the geological conditions of the area were studied with the geological file materials. This rock consists mainly of quartz (more than 80%), also present muscovite (more than 10 %), biotite, and ore minerals – 1–2 %. It is understood that the mineral composition of raw materials corresponds to the existing standards
