Abstract
This paper attempted to identify different factors that influence the competitiveness of a seaport and that contribute to make the port as the node of the logistics chains. These factors are the quality of port services, port coast, port transit time, port accessibility, port information sharing, port connectivity, the reliability of the port institutional framework, the management of interactions between port actors and finally, inter- and intra-port proximity. Semi-structured interviews with all actors of the port logistics chain (port facilities, economic actors, port authorities) allow us to achieve our objective
