Abstract
The conventional type traction vehicles are not an efficient system because of the fact that either it is using an IC engine or a series DC motor. In case of IC engine fossil fuels are required to power it as well as due to frictional and heat losses its not efficient system to provide power and in case of DC series motor the motor requires more amperes to create a good traction or torque production. The main problem is that they contains brushes which creates frictional losses and creates spark. Hence our project is to design an efficient low RPM high torque 4 passenger system with wireless RF card as the key to start the system. Here we are using BLDC motor with electronic control as well as 1:6 as gear ratio to get good traction. The BLDC motors are 88% efficient in operation and has a good traction characteristics as a series DC motor. BLDC motor system is having regenerative breaking technology hence the power is regenerated to the battery pack provided this makes the overall system more efficient in operation.
