Abstract
This article examines the mutational status of the BRCA1 gene in long-lived women and women of the senile group of Kabardino-Balkaria in order to establish a correlation between age and the frequency of occurrence of the insC 5382 polymorphism of the BRCA1 gene. This is due to the fact that oncological diseases are classified as diseases of late manifestation, and therefore the studied sample is of substantive interest for identifying the desired correlation.
