Abstract
This article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of Phraseological units expressing the concepts “Friendship” and “Enmity” in English and German languages. Phraseological units contain such set expressions as stable expressions, idioms, proverbs and sayings; especially proverbs play an important role in the vocabulary of every language.
