Abstract
New information technologies are now being actively used in the educational process and in development of digital training materials (DVD-tutorials, multimedia tutorials, geoinformational, digital and voice-maps in different areas of geography) in order to develop geographical education. Our article is devoted to the development of digital tutors and thematic maps in the field of national geography (physical and economic) of the Azerbaijan Republic.
