Abstract
Autorickshaws are most commonly used for short distances transportation modes in India. So, the automobile industry involves in this faced with a challenge not only to make autorickshaw which is good in aesthetic but also, have to consider the comfort, design and safety. The aim of this study is to carry out static and dynamic analysis of autorickshaw to describe crash characteristics and deformation pattern of the front side and suggest some improvement in order to increase the strength of the body. The design is carried out by using CATIA V5 R20 and analysis was executed by ANSYS workbench and RADIOSS software.
