Abstract
This article elaborates the study conducted on multiple pharmaceutical companies in India for understanding their service needs from their equipment vendors. The existing prevailing service models were studied and the gap between the existing models and the end user requirements are studied in detail. After gathering the relevant data a new service model has been proposed, which will be more efficient in fulfilling the service needs of the end users in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry.
