Hospitals are well prepared to handle external emergencies that bring in patients needing life-saving measures but an internal hazard like a fire is more disruptive& puts an increased amount of stress on the hospital authorities to ensure the safety of the patients& visitors who are unfamiliar with the layout of the building& procedures to follow in case of a fire.
