Abstract
Sciatica is a disease occurred by the compression of the spinal nerves that are arise from the L4 to S3 the symptoms of the sciatica patients are radicular pain in leg, tingling sensation and numbness. It was caused by by lumbar herniated disc, degenerative disc disease, isthmic spondylolisthesis, lumbar spinal stenosis, piriformis syndrome and treated with Analgesics or NSAIDS, Acupuncture, Epidural steroid injections, spinal manipulation. This article reviews about the different etiological pathways causing sciatica and its treatment.
