Abstract
Human serum albumin is the most abundant drug carrier protein in the human body. It plays a vital role in pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of the drug. Plumbagin, isolated from Plumbago zeylanica is reported to show anticancer activity. Plumabgin Isonaizid is a synthetic analog of plumbagin having better properties than parent compound. The interaction of Plumbagin isoniazid with human serum albumin reveils dynamic quenching mechanism along with spontaneous binding. The binding site of PLINH is sudlows site I located in subdomain IIA.
