ORGANIZATION OF RADIATION PROTECTION IN HEALTH SECTOR IN BULGARIA

The main socially significant problem connected with use of ionizing radiations in medical and in other purposes is the probability of cancerogenic risk as a result of low doses of radiation. Specialists in radiation protection are concentrated in the system of protection of public health in Bulgaria in Ministry of Health, but experts in the field work and in the field of radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, in services on labor medicine, at nuclear power plant, at universities.
