Abstract
Polystyrene (PS) complexed with Cadmium sulfide (CdS) are prepared by a solution cast technique. Several experimental techniques such as XRD, SEM, FTIR and Raman Spectroscopy are employed to characterize the sample. The powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) result indicates that the nanoparticles are crystallized in cubic phase. SEM, FTIR and Raman spectra of the sample are recorded and discussed briefly.
