Abstract
This study clinical case study on thyroid malignancies conducted in the Department of General Surgery, Government General Hospital, guntur Medical College, guntur, over a period of two years from May 2013 to May 2015. Iodine deficiency is known to produce thyroid hyperplasia, adenoma formation and ultimately malignancy. . Goitrogenic pockets are also common in this part of Andhra Pradesh, where the incidence of carcinoma is on the rise.
