Abstract
Microbial fuel cell ( MFC) represents a new method for electricity generation and waste water treatment. Microbial fuel cells are devices that can use bacterial metabolism to produce an electrical current from a wide range organic substrates. This research explores the application of MFC in generating electricity using waste water from Popular bread factory Jabalpur. In order to obtain the aim of this research, a system of MFC with microbe Paenibacillus has been used. As parameter, it was evaluated the electricity produced during MFC operation on variation at different concentration of organic substances.
