Tuberculosis is a severe infectious disease which led burden to many countries especially 3rd world countries. It is estimated by the WHO that about 9.4 million people are infected with disease; also 3 million deaths occur annually. Many strategies like DOT, DOT-PLUS and STOP TB have been proposed by WHO to tackle down TB. The DOT strategy and NTP has done a lot in controlling TB in Pakistan and England, but Pakistan is still facing the causing determinants like: poverty, injustice, socio-cultural and influx of Afghan refugees.
