Abstract
In this present work, a statistical approach based on Taguchi Techniques and finite element analysis were adopted to determine the parametric significance on the formability of cup using warm drawing process. The process parameters were thickness of blank, temperature, coefficient of friction and strain rate. The thickness of sheet, coefficient of friction and strain rate have been found influencing the quality of the cup drawn from 2024T4 aluminum alloy.
