The Ifugao Hudhud: Its Values Content

The study sought to determine the values embedded in the Hudhud of the Ifugao. The study used documentary analysis to uncover the values of the Ifugaos as embodied in the Hudhud using the Department of Education Culture and Sports (DECS) Values Education Framework. Focus group discussion (FGD) was used to authenticate the data analyzed. The findings revealed that there were many values embodied in the Hudhud which are worth emulating and keeping.
