Abstract
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has become a widely used method for diagnosing diseases related to soft tissue organs like heart, brain, and uterus. But this technique is fraught with problems related to noise addition during image acquisition, which degrades the quality of MR images for further study. This paper does a comparative study of different filtering methods that is applied to MR images.
