Abstract
Test anxiety lowers validity and reliability of English tests, and will result in negative washback effects. The study attempts to explore the relationship between Chinese graduate students state test anxiety and test performance in EFL testing contexts. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches are adopted in the research to form a triangulation study.
