Abstract
The adsorption of Azure C cationic dye by bentonit clay was firstly studied in a batch system for various dye concentrations. The adsorption was studied as a function of contact time, and adsorbent dose, under batch adsorption technique. The concentration of the solution before and after adsorption was measured spectrophotometrically. The equilibrium data fit with Langmuir, Freundlich models of adsorption and the linear regression coefficient R2 was used to elucidate the best fitting isotherm model.
