Abstract
The critical micelle concentration (CMC) of Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate (SDS) in water and SDS+1-Propanol+water mixture of different composition has been determined in the temperature range 298.150K, 303.150K, 308.150K and 313.150K by means of conductance measurement. It has been observed that CMC is temperature dependent and it is found to increase with increase in amount of the co-solvent. the thermodynamic parameters of micellization have been computed and discussed.
