Abstract
The measures of state regulation of the pharmaceutical industry in India are discussed in the article, in particular, in the conditions of the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19. In the context of comparative analysis, the features of the pharmaceutical sector in Donetsk People's Republic are revealed. The measures have been formulated to improve the regulation of the DPR pharmaceutical market, according to the indian experience in the development of the healthcare system. The main development trends and problems that have formed in the context of a pandemic are highlighted. The measures to resolve problematic issues are proposed.
