The study has been carried out in six villages around Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. The main rabi crops of the area include wheat, mustard, gram, potato and barseem. A total of 43 weed species were collected from these crops. Among the weeds, 36 species were annuals and 7 perennials belonging to 21 families and 42 genera. Poa annua, phalaris minor, Polypogon monspeliensis and Melilotus indica were found in all the five crops.
